So in simpler terms, the 33-inch tire is the biggest you can fit on a Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Went with yokahoma X-AT 295/70 on stock 18 wheels. Minor alignment adjustments after install but shop Said it was minor and to mfg specs. No rub anywhere. Tires spec as 34.6/12. Only drove 20 miles but notice no difference in acceleration! But in order to do so, you’ll need to get the right lift ...This guy discovered that running 35 inch tires on his Trail Boss seriously overheated his transmission. You may find that switching to tires of that size will also require re-gearing your final drive. It depends on what your current gearing is. His was geared with a 3.42 rear end.
